About

One City,

One Sound

One City, One Sound is a Frederick-founded platform creating live experiences, media, and community through music.

Built from a deep connection to their local scene, OCOS exists to highlight the artist, DJs, and voices that exist in overlooked scenes.

One city. One movement. One sound.

Why We Built This

Our home of Frederick, MD has always had talent. What it needs is a consistent platform that brings talent together and present it at a high level.

One City, One Sound was created to change this.

As we set for this journey, we realized our city was not alone in this fight. So we sought to put on more than just shows, but by building something intentional – spaces where different sounds, backgrounds, and communities can come together through music.

What We Do

OCOS produces concerts, showcases, and community-driven events that highlight a range of artists and sounds.

Beyond live events, we document and support the culture through content — including artist features, live performance series, and community storytelling.

Everything we do is rooted in creating real experiences and giving the city something to build around.

Where We’re Going

OCOS is building toward something bigger than individual events.

The goal is to establish a lasting platform that continues to grow with and beyond the city — expanding opportunities for artists, creating consistent cultural moments, and pushing the region’s music scene forward.

This started locally, but it doesn’t stop here.
